Yea my blog is dead.. haha kinda lazy nowadays
and army is kinda preventing me from going online often
Cos my wifi connection camp is too laggy
and weekends most of the time I am outside
Either tht or I watching tv lor
Haha wanted talk about 2 days back
went see some fortune teller cos she helped me
Erms I was sick for 2 months, about a month was spent in hospital
Some relatives and frens came visit, thx ppl :D
anyway she said 4 things about me which was quite true
And also she predicted when I will be discharged from hospital
Bloody hell, exact same date!!

So here are the 4 things:

1) I am smart (She forgot to say I lazy??)
2) I tend to save money, in other words stingy (Really? I spend a lot wad..)
3) I am kind hearted
4) I tend to be angry at myself, blame myself..

and yea point number is super riight
The moment she said tht immediately I thought of March 2009
gosh it seems ages ago... but back then I tell you..
I even went one week without eating lunch back then..
Yes just to punish myself
Foolish right!!
I did many more things which caused physical scars actually, even years before that
But forget it la I hav changed, quite a lot
I would say grown more mature when it comes to these things
so yea it would probably be like years before i find someone ba
At least I think tht should be the case..
we will see how.. till then,

this post is probably dedicated to everyone i know ba.
I m feeling sad not just becos i m posted to aslc
I m sad becos my injury is worsening
if i go on training like this, my knees wont make it
i don wanna end up limping when i grow older
and i m sad becos i feel insulted.
back at the route march, i didnt mean to limp while i walk
i was realli in pain, ie my injury was acting up
And I was realli trying, so i dont get why i was being scolded
Oh well tht person didnt mean it either...
forget it la.
now the problem is whether i want to carry on not
I could hav down pes status like months ago
but back then i didnt want to, i thought i could carry on
so i told the specialist, lemme go on.
but now? sighs. life sucks
I cant realli carry on anymore.
its not only pain. pain is still ok
The real problem is i dont want any damage done to my ligaments
i rather die than become a handicap.

Haha update update!
My army life last wk was rather tiring omg!
cos wednesday was the IPPT hahas
and woah lucky me! i managed to get a silver
hahas i ran 2.4km with pain, but still lucky me
cos SBJ i was quite lucky to get a silver score for tht
and for the run, i was the last in the whole platoon on 51 ppl!!
Yea the feeling kinda sucks lol. but i just hope my knee problem goes away
Only after healing it, then i can improve my 2.4km timing...
thn wed was omg la.. feels like chilli all over my face ):
lols okok tired liao. I shall go on to my weekends!

hahas firstly, i booked out 10pm fri nite.
So by the time i reach home, nearly midnight, had gd food (punggol nasi lemak) before going to bed
Lols and i slept 12 hrs!! cos i woke up at 1pm on sat (:
I woke up feeling dam happy (or quite) cos i was dam tired the entire wk!
a bit sad tht nite outing wif ys ju en and peeps was cancelled, but still ok wif it ba, next time thn meet up!
but if i rmbr correctly, my dream was rather weird.

Just some highlights since entering army.
Nw i m in SCS, apparently i lucky to get to use lappie almost every night
and my injury.. still the same

but na, i wanna test out my limits once again, just like in BMT
Well, in fact many things have happened this yr, even b4 i enlist
I can say, my life is rather complicated rite nw
Probably nt to the extent of screwed up yet though, cos i have settled most of the complicated stuffs...
seriously i rlly feel for some frens i know of
though i cant really help them, i do hope tht they are doing fine

complications complications...
u know wad are my 2 regrets now?
Firstly, i regret nt taking good care of my knees, cos i hav no idea how i got this problem as well.
Although the doc says its knee overuse and it can heal with time, things arent going smoothly, as army doesnt allow me time. And so thts why Kel says I m garang

Haha and secondly, I regretted not telling you this. I regretted not telling you wad you mean to me. Right now, I have probably given up, cos i know there's no point telling. First i don even know how you feel, second cos army doesnt allow me time. You know how precious my weekends are now? Hahas. And yea now I conclude I don hav anyone i like right nw. It will probably stay the same for the next few months. So yea, thts why i have this regret.

But still, I have come to terms with all these. Ironically, life in army tweaked my mindset tht little bit. I now learn to take things in my stride and i try to look at things from different perspectives. Hmmmms weird isnt it. I guess I changed cos I realised (in army) that things are beyond ur control at times. For eg u are forced to study from the day you are born, isnt it?

Ohh man rather late now almost midnight, hope i don get too tired tmr morning. Haha wadever i just said, i just hope my loved ones, family and frens around me, are all doing fine. And yea hope to catch up wif ppl the next few weekends. HAHA must book in advance one ok! LOL. Of cos i m just joking.

Complications once again, I guess some things in life are really unpredictable. I nv once expected so many things to happen even when i m in army. Ppl who know, just know it and keep quiet lol. Yea man i just hope all these that happened doesnt change my friendships wif all my frens. Cos apparently something real bad happened last year March and November.. and I dont want tht kind of things to happen ever again haha. Remember, I have changed. I am not the emo Jeremy Soo many years ago!!

Alright man time to slp. Dam late nw. Haha nites ppl. I really really hope my life becomes less complicated soon enough. Till then, cya!

The Most Defining Moment in my BMT

It has been six weeks since enlistment, and I have experienced and also learnt many things I never expected I would. For me, the most defining moment was definitely field camp. And the moment during field camp that really changed the way I look at things now was when I received my parents’ letter. It was the third day then, and I was very tired already. However, I pushed on and managed to complete the field camp despite having injuries.

Indeed, I had knee problems even before I entered field camp. However, I sought permission to carry on as I told myself I am able to do this. Field camp really pushed me to my limits as I really felt like falling out due to pain at my knees. Yet I was determined to carry on, as I also wanted to see how much I could actually endure. I can definitely say that field camp has been a great test especially for me, and I am glad that I managed to complete the mission in the end.

For me, the greatest gift I had during field camp was the letter from my parents. It was the most memorable, and probably the most emotional moment in BMT when I read their letter. Before enlistment, I was barely home, be it due to school, temporary jobs that I took on before I entered army, or just because I was hanging out with friends. I never missed home, until I got enlisted into the army, and I especially missed home during field camp.

Upon reading the letter, I realized how much I took things for granted in the past. I never ever thought that five days without bathing was a horrible thing. And I never expected myself to find out through the letter, that I actually loved my family a lot, except that I don’t show it openly.

Field camp has been a fascinating week for me. The worst part of the camp was actually the fact that I can’t keep in contact with my family and friends at all. In fact, I even dreamt of some friends as I missed them and I was unable to talk to them. Although field camp was tiring, I thought it was all worthwhile, as it really made me cherish my life as well as the people around me even more. Surely, I do have certain regrets even before enlistment. But field camp taught me how to cherish my loved ones, and as such I won’t have regrets in the future.

Receiving my parent’s letter was probably the deciding factor as to why I managed to carry on in field camp despite feeling very shacked out. However, it was the field camp that changed my perspectives in life. And it made me realize that almost anything can be achieved as long as you put your heart to it. For that, field camp was definitely not a waste of time as I have learnt a lot from it.

its been long
army has been a torture hahaha
ok la nt tht bad
But the funniest thing is, if i hadnt gone army, i would have known that my knees were once injured b4..
In the past i do face knee pain.
But i didnt care, as the pain will go away days later
now things are rather different ):
its been nearly 2 wks and it still hurts.

Principal diagnosis gave me 2 possiblities:

1) The polyclinic suspect my ligament may be torn
2) TTSH suggests that I sprained my knee

haha so yea i sure hope this injury wont be a serious one
cos i don wanna end up nt doing sports (soccer)
and i don wanna end up a handicap (which i feel i m right nw)
yea, for nw i don even care about my cough & fever
wads most impt to me rite nw, is to heal this stupid knee injury
I m seeing a specialist like 3 weeks later, which is quite a long time away ):
and i hav another concern
I really want to finish this BMT
hmmms.. I don wanna down pes
cos if i do, i would hav to go thru BMT all over again
waste of time.

So yea.. I just hope that this injury will heal
I would probably do almost anything for it to heal
for i really wanna do sports
plus i wanna be able to walk like any other person

the 1st few days in army were OMG
i totaly missed my family, frenz, and freedom
now i m better le.
Haha i shall survive next week

Today has been a long day for me...
and i m rlly tired.
So i m only just gonna confess 5 things here

1) I knew i screwed up econs the moment i finished my 'A' s , but still, I m rlly upset over my results today.

2) There was a very valid reason why I didnt perform well at the exams, but only some people know why. I mentioned this cos I m disappoined with myself for not being able to move on quickly.

3) Some seconds after taking the result slip, I stared at it and then I dropped my bag, ran to some place behind where there was not many people, sat down, hid my face, and cried my f______ heart out. And I haven had that much tears in a long time.

4) Upon reaching home, I went to the fridge, took a can of Carlsberg into my room, and finished it in 15 sec. Then I went to the fridge again, took another can and finished it in the same amount of time. Thats like f______ fast.

5) I was really touched when you called, YY. And I wondered if A was blogging about me. Don ask me why, cos I also dunno, do tell me if I m right or wrong.

Come to think of it again..

guess i m just too mentally tired from today
thnking way too much nw..

I realised I haven been updating...
Some short updates ba haha

Last friday went play floorball lor last time liao
We went swensens eat hehs b4 tht pei Andrew shop for some stuff
Ohh and Lingling was working at thr!!
Lol i didnt know la, yea talked to her for a while lo
B4 tht was like went pool and woah... me and darren owning la
Hahaha thn play the match dam short only half an hr zzz
LOL ohhh ya we took bus to ps after dinner at KFC
and OMFG it was dam funny!!
cos some Indian festival, close one lane, so the traffic was dam slow
thn Andrew went to call the hotline LOL nice one :)
But ok la the crazy part was tht the bus stop at ps became inaccessible
so we had to alight at like Somerset
but of cos, i don mind.. thr was a problem though
The bus stop at ps... despite it being 'closed' of some sort, thr were still quite a no. of ppl thr hahaha omg hope they werent waiting for bus lor

Next was saturday... hmmms started work, which was super boring
and the place is like dam dam hot cos outside of the supermarket (NTUC at Kovan)
Haha yea lor so quite sian, talked to aunties and the Carlsberg person lor
of cos, thr were sales and sold quite a no. of cartons of Tiger beer (considering tht the place was quite ulu one)
But still, quite sian zzz..
